Packaging is Technology

Packaging Structural Design is focused on choices of many kinds of materials to fit the design, their utilization from die-cuts to bottle caps and how they facilitate the process of production. The end result is in the manufacturing process leading to logistics and supply chain management that eventually brings the product to store shelves, kitchens, B2B utilities and export destinations.

Packaging Technology covers a wide range of materials and sub-materials which are subjected to different manufacturing processes.  In plastics alone, we are dealing with more than six categories from PVC to PET and LDPE to HDPE.  Their applications vary from plastic film wraps to molded containers. Plastics’ versatility makes it utilized more than other materials.
